Many of the most rewarding dive experiences, locally and internationally, require an Advanced (Adventure) Diver certification. This course enables you to safely participate in Boat, Deep and Night Dives to a maximum of 30m.

Complete the required online theory modules before your practical sessions begin.
You’ll complete 5 required adventure dives over a minimum of 3 dive days. The full course may take up to 6 diving dats, depending on scheduling and sea conditions.

Divemaster
Scuba Course
The Divemaster’s mission is to inspire and influence others to grow in their diving experiences as well as increase their own knowledge, skills and experience by planning and leading dives. This course is your first step toward a professional certification and a waterproof paycheque.
The Divemaster course prepares you to guide and supervise certified divers professionally. On completion, you will be able to:
- Lead underwater tours for certified divers
- Work on dive boats and lead trips for a dive centre
- Apply skills in group management, accident prevention, boat diving, and navigation
- Master and demonstrate core waterman skills (snorkelling, scuba, and rescue) in confined water.
- lead dives and manage groups of certified divers.
- Independently research dive sites, organise notes, and prepare dive briefings and activities.
- Observe, brief, and conduct open water diving activities.
- Complete training exercises such as map making, underwater problem-solving, and a divemaster conducted program.
- Assist an instructor with non-certified divers during 4 open water dives and 1 confined water dive.
- Observe and assist with one night dive and one deep dive for certified divers.
- Plan and conduct one night dive and one deep dive for certified divers.
- Minimum age 18.
- Advanced diver, Rescue diver and Science of Diving specialty certifications.
- Minimum 40 logged dives, including experience in navigation, limited visibility, boat diving, deep diving, and search and recovery.
- CPR and First Aid certification within the last 24 months.
- Medical examination within the last 12 months, with unconditional approval to dive from a licensed physician.

The SSI Instructor Training Course provides candidates with the knowledge and training necessary to organize and conduct entry level recreational scuba training courses and the specialty programs taught by an SSI Open Water Instructor.
As a certified instructor, you’ll be able to independently teach key SSI programs such as Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue, and Dive Guide.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.

- Minimum 100 dives logged.
- IE Supervision Active Instructor Certifier
- Duration 70–80 hours
- Max depth 40 meters
- Completing ITC digital learning, final exam, and academic sessions

- Pass the ITC final exam
- Upload training records & documentation to MySSI
- Scheduling an IE and passing within 6 months of ITC completion (otherwise reevaluation required)
